USACivicsCard Privacy Policy
USACivicsCard (“the App”) is a mobile study aid for the U.S. citizenship civics test. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Summary
The App does not require a user account and does not collect personal information for advertising, analytics dashboards, or resale. Study content is stored on your device.
2. Information we do not collect
- No account registration (no name, email, or password stored by us)
- No payment card numbers or banking details stored by the App
- No tracking for ads
- No sale of personal data
3. Information stored on your device
The App may store local preferences on your device, such as:
- Whether you accepted the Terms and Conditions
- Whether full access has been unlocked on that device
- Your last studied question / study progress
This data stays on your device (local storage). If you delete the App, that local data is removed with it.
4. Purchases
Full access is offered as a one-time In-App Purchase processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Those platforms handle payment under their own privacy policies. The App only receives confirmation that a purchase or restore succeeded so it can unlock content on your device.
5. Third-party services
Besides Apple/Google billing used for In-App Purchases, the App is designed to work offline with bundled educational content and does not depend on a USACivicsCard backend account system.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is a general educational study tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
